'''Skruffs''' is a mafia player. He joined in July of 2005, but didn't actually sign up for a game until July of 2006. He's pretty out there.


On Tuesday, Sep 12, 2006 at 10:03 pm, I made my first appearance in a mafia game. I replaced into [http://mafiascum.mithmojo.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3688 Newbie 256 - Alien Invader Mafia], as scum with [[Thok]]. I made an initial post, and then voted for [[Chess83]], who had put up a valian fight... and died. The game was over one hour and twenty five minutes after I replaced into it.


Scum win! It was a pretty exciting experience.

This was an interesting game, mostly because of a huge argument that took up many pages day one/two(?) between [[Sprontalic]] and [[Ether]]. It went around and around and around - at the end of the day, I trusted the two ladies the most. [[Bertrand]] was lynched, turning out to be unfortunately, town. And then, more unfortunately, [[MeMe]] was killed that night. [[MeMe]] turned out to be a cop. The next day, we managed (After much haranguing) to get [[Sprontalic]] lynched - which sort of cleared [[Ether]].
==Modding==


I was NKed after successfully hammering [[Sprontalic]] scum. [[Chess83]] - who I had just lynched off in my replacement game - won as scum in this game after a TIGHT show down between the witty, loigcal, and beautiful [[Ether]], [[Save the Dragons]], and [[Chess83]]. Even though [[Save the Dragons]] went so far as to write a song to help persuade her, [[Ether]] wound up voting him.  
* My mini normal, which is titled [http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4974 "Early Morning Mafia"], is done. I am rather pleased about the game and have learned a good bit about running games. Namely, don't make them contrived! The scum won.

Day one I helped coerce a mislynch on [[Twito]], night one we decided to kill [[Zindaras]]. This is important, because it started a trend... you'll see. Day three I claimed cop and got [[Y.C]] mislynched for a scum win. This could have been avoided if [[Mr. Finch]], the REAL cop, had counter claimed.

I replaced in at a 6 player near-end game scenario, paired up with [[Zindaras]]. I also got us mislynched by advocating attempting to go after a killer instead of after cult-recruits that may or may not have existed. They didn't! A tight three player endgame was won by [[Cogito Ergo Sum]]/[[OverTheUnder]] & [[Lowell]]/[[sprontalic]].

This may have been my FAVORITE GAME to replace into. I replaced in at the middle of day five. My first post restriction - Very Verbose Townie - meant I had to post at least 400 words in each of my first three posts of every day. We lynched scum day after day and STILL had a very close endgame. This was also the  first game I survived to the end in as town. I was quite exhilirated at the win. :D

* Battleship Mafia - Each player has a board for the game, votes count as torpedoes, only so many votes per day.
* Mastermind Mafia - You have to lynch ALL the mafia at once to get a successful lynch.
* One Page Mafia (pending) - As title says. Up to 23 players.
* Skruffs' Trolling Unvitational - A chance for accused trolls to redeem themselves.

A few people stand out to Skruffs in terms of how they play and who they are.
* [[Zindaras]] is an awesome guy who has the unfortunate knack of being in front of the Skruffs train in any game we are both in together. I've nightkilled him as town when I was scum, gotten us both lynched as town in Double Headed Mafia, and gotten him barely lynched at deadling as scum (sneaky Zindaras!) in Meadows of Sorrow. I made him King in Kingmaker 2 the night I was killed. I replaced into Famous Cats Mafia with his clone after Zindaras One was knocked off. And I bug him daily on AIM. Yay!
* [[Spectrumvoid]] is perhaps the scummiest female I've ever met. She was my first scumbuddy in a newbie game, turned out to be scum WITH Zindaras in Meadows of Sorrow, and was scum in Hell on Earth, too. Shame on you, SV. Shame! Endgaming SV in Hell on Earth was a very happy thing for me to be able to do. Secondarily, I believe that she has a secret 'thing' for being endgamed.
* [[Ether]] is the LEAST scummy female I've ever met. She's always  town. :)
* [[now_a_ranger]] is perhaps my favorite 'newb' on the site. He's a very fun and enthusiastic player, if you can keep his attention long enough to keep him in the game.
* [[Primate]] and [[Patrick]] are excellent foreigners who I turn to a good deal for questions about modding and possible setups in games I am in.
* [[Thestatusquo]] is.. sexy. I think?
* [[Glork]] is undefinable. But he likes meatloaf.. so he's good.

Skruffs

Skruffs is a mafia player. He joined in July of 2005, but didn't actually sign up for a game until July of 2006. He's pretty out there.

Modding
