...and then, a few days later...

Day 1

Tensions were high and Chronopie's story just didn't add up.

  • "A photographer? For the mob?"
  • "No, you idiot. I run a photo studio."
  • "Where did you get all the funds for those fancy cameras?"
  • "Well... I do run a photo studio, but..."
  • "He's lying!" "Get him!" "He hasn't been playing well with others, anyway..."

A short time later, Max Warner was beaten severely and on the run, never to be seen in Kansas City again.

Max "Chrono" P. Warner, (Town) Photographer/Private Investigator, was run out of town Day One.

Night 1

Alan Wilson, Warehouse Supervisor/Townie, who supervised at the B & B Distribution warehouse, was found dead in the street the night of June 16th/17th. The back of his skull was crushed in with a blunt object. As of yet, the murder is unsolved, with no strong leads.

Day 2

Based on the reported investigations of Officer Greco, recently recruited goon Charles Poro was taken into federal custody, pending charges. The Yesterday's Girl grocery will continue to conduct normal business hours in his absence, according to a manager of the establishment.

Night 2

The sweltering summer continued and the weekend passed in laziness and stale air. Restless sleep and nervousness blanketed the River Quay like smog, and more than a few people woke up imagining a window or door being forced open, their privacy violated... But for a few people, detected or not, Death marched at their heels.

Andrius Raudhr got a little 'toasty' at the bar, celebrating the good fortune of Charles Poro's arrest, or perhaps worrying about his own neck. In either case, it was a wobbly trip home that was brought to an abrupt end when a large chunk of rock impacted with the back of his skull. He thrashed about, trying to defend himself, but his assailant left no opening and soon his brains were splattered across the alley behind Harlow's Nightclub. Nobody saw or heard a thing, or if they did, no one is talking...

One other soul met the reaper this steamy and still night. Mike Howell, called The Admiral by his friends despite never actually having done naval service, was walking down the street when he heard a quiet click behind him. Before he could even wonder what the noise was, a small-caliber bullet tore out his spine, ripping shrapned through his right lung and silencing his scream before it could be voiced. His killer put the weapon away and strolled the other way... his body was found by the waterfront docks. Police are not talking about any leads at this time.

  • Andrius Raudhr, Teamster/Townie, was bludgeoned to death Night Two.
  • Mike "The Admiral" Howell, Personal Trainer/Townie, was shot Night Two.

Day 3

to be determined...
