Are you modding a game? Browsing the wiki, looking for roles for you game? Well you are on the right track. You should know though, not everyone looks at game balance and game design the same way. Some people consider some roles more [[Bastard]] than others. Sometimes people feel so strongly about a particular role they will consider it [[Bastard]] while other people might consider it completely normal.

Keep in mind that a lot of arguments for why a certain role might be bastard are highly contextual. For instance, there are always specific situations where any role might be acceptable in a setup. Like, if you have a theme setup designed around a [[Survivor]] role, its probably okay.  This article is meant to be looked at in broad strokes, so take it with a grain of salt.

Cult Difficult to balance and alignment-changing leads to a much-disdained third-party.
Death Miller An arguably overpowering form of misinformation.
False role Essentially states "Your role PM is a lie".
Hated Advances ELo by a Day and is generally not fun to play as.
Jester Considered too easy to win as and acts as a scummy miselimination.
Judas An alignment-changing role that acts as a sort of super-Traitor.
Mentor A weaker but still maligned Cult.
Saulus An alignment-changing role that is very difficult to implement soundly.
