Interdimensional Traveler

An Interdimensional Traveler is a player who targets a player to delay their action. A player delayed in this way will still be able to act the next Night, but the results of actions will be unable to be discerned if the same ability is used the next Night.

Standard version

An Interdimensional Traveler targets a player during the night. Their actions will be delayed until the next night. A player targeted by an Interdimensional Traveler will still be able to act the next night, however if the same ability is used, the results of actions will be unable to be discerned.

Variations

Players affected by an Interdimensional Traveler may be informed that they were affected by an Interdimensional Traveler.

  • As a targeted action: their action will be delayed until the next night. If they use the same ability again the next night, results will be unable to be discerned. (edit)

Example (simplest form)

Welcome to game! You are a Town Interdimensional Traveler.

You have the following active ability:

  • Each Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, their action will be delayed until the next night. If they use the same ability again the next night, results will be unable to be discerned.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Example (with modifiers)

Welcome to game! You are a Town 1-shot Loud Interdimensional Traveler.

You have the following active ability:

  • Once in the game at Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, their action will be delayed until the next night. If they use the same ability again the next night, results will be unable to be discerned. Your target will learn that you targeted them (but not what action you targeted them with).

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.
