The Loud modifier makes it so if Player A targets Player B at night, Player B will be informed that they were targeted by Player A with a Loud role but not what action was taken. For example, if Player A was a Loud Cop and used it on Player B, Player B would be notified that they were targeted by Player A with a Loud role, but not that they used cop.

Normal version

This modifier is allowed in Complex Normal games.

Loud is an acceptable modifier under Normal guidelines on mafiascum.net, when used on an active role belonging to a player of any Town or Mafia/Werewolf alignment, or when used on a vanilla Goon.

A player targeted by a Loud role will learn who targeted them, but not what role targeted them.

Variations

Loud is a direct complement to the modifier Announcing, which informs a player of the role that targeted them, but not what player.

  • As a modifier on a single ability: Your target will learn that you targeted them (but not what action you targeted them with). (edit)
  • As a modifier that affects all abilities: Whenever you perform a targeted action, your target will learn that you targeted them (but not what action you targeted them with). (edit)

Example (modifying a single ability)

Welcome to game! You are a Town Loud Jailkeeper.

You have the following active ability:

  • Each Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, that player will be protected from kills that night, but all their actions will be blocked that night. Your target will learn that you targeted them (but not what action you targeted them with).

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Example (affecting all abilities)

Welcome to game! You are a Town Loud Jack of All Trades Tracker Doctor.

Whenever you perform a targeted action, your target will learn that you targeted them (but not what action you targeted them with).

You have the following active abilities, but may use only one per Night:

  • Once in the game at night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will learn who that player targeted that night. (You will get "no result" if this action is blocked.)
  • Once in the game at night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, that player will be protected from one kill that night.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.
