Some hallmarks of this include:

* 2 Vanilla Townies
* [[Miller]]s or [[Godfather]]s with no [[Cops]].
However, the theme can be expanded to encompass the following definition:
* [[Psychiatrist]]s or [[FBI Agent]]s with no [[Serial Killer]]s.

Take the setup above. The Nurse could only begin protecting once the Doc dies, but since there is no Doc, the Nurse is a Vanilla Townie. The Deputy could only begin investigating once the Cop dies, but since there is no Cop, the Deputy is a Vanilla Townie. The Miller shows Guilty to investigations, but since there is no Cop, this is irrelevent. The Mafia are investigation immune, but, since there is no Cop, this is irrelevent.


The game can be made Inadvertant Mountainous by using a number of the following roles:
* Backups to roles which don't exist.
* Enablers to roles which don't exist.
* Millers.
* Investigation Immune Mafia.
