IC Basic is a simple setup with the IC mechanic. The IC slot is set apart from the other slots during sign-ups, and you will need to /in to IC to play as the IC.
Setup
- 1 Mafia Role Cop
- 1 Mafia Goon
- 1 Town IC
- 1 Town Mason 1-shot Doctor
- 5 Vanilla Townies
Mechanics
- The Town IC slot is signed up for separately from the other 8 slots
- Daystart
- Normal voting and nightkills
- Mafia has inherent multitasking
- Town IC is revealed to be the Town IC at the start of the game
- Town IC and Town Mason share a Private Topic
Role PMs
Mafia Role Cop
- Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Role Cop, along with your partner, [Player Name].
Abilities:
- Role investigation: Each night phase, you may target one player in the game to learn that player's role.
- Factional communication: At any time, you may talk with your partner here [Private Topic link].
- Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.
Win condition:
- You win when the Town has been wiped out, or nothing can stop this from occurring.
Mafia Goon
- Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name].
Abilities:
- Factional communication: At any time, you may talk with your partner here [Private Topic link].
- Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.
Win condition:
- You win when the Town has been wiped out, or nothing can stop this from occurring.
Town IC
- Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town IC.
Abilities:
- IC: As you have signed up for the IC slot, your role card is immediately revealed in the game thread and you are thus known as the Town IC.
- Town PT access: At any time, you may talk with [Player Name], the Town Mason, here [Private Topic link].
Win condition:
- You win when there are no longer any threats to town.
Town Mason 1-shot Doctor
- Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Mason.
Abilities:
- Town PT access: At any time, you may talk with [Player Name], the Town IC, here [Private Topic link].
