IC Basic

Name: IC Basic Setup Size: Micro Players: 9 Setup Type: Micro Open Micro Designer: TemporalLich Notes: You must choose if you want to be the IC or not when signing up.

IC Basic is a simple setup with the IC mechanic.

During signups, you must pick whether you want to be the IC or don't want to be the IC. The Town IC role will be given to a random player who wanted to be the IC, and then the other 8 roles will be randomized among the other players.

Setup

• 1 Mafia Role Cop

• 1 Town IC
• 1 Town Mason Non-Consecutive Night Doctor
• 5 Vanilla Townies

Mechanics

• The Town IC role card is randomized from every player who wanted to be the IC. After the Town IC role card is randomized, the other 8 role cards are randomized among the other players.
• Daystart
• Normal voting and nightkills
• Mafia has inherent multitasking
• Town IC is revealed to be the Town IC at the start of the game
• Town IC and Town Mason Non-Consecutive Night Doctor share a Private Topic

Role PMs

Mafia Role Cop

• Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Role Cop, along with your partner, [Player Name].

Abilities:

• Role investigation: Each night phase, you may target one player in the game to learn that player's role.
• Factional communication: At any time, you may talk with your partner here [Private Topic link].
• Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.

Win condition:

• You win when the Town has been wiped out, or nothing can stop this from occurring.

Mafia Goon

• Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name].

Abilities:

• Factional communication: At any time, you may talk with your partner here [Private Topic link].
• Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.

Win condition:

• You win when the Town has been wiped out, or nothing can stop this from occurring.

Town IC

• Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town IC.

Abilities:

• IC: Your role card is immediately revealed in the game thread and you are thus known as the Town IC.
• Town PT access: At any time, you may talk with [Player Name], the Town Mason 1-shot Doctor, here [Private Topic link].

Win condition:

• You win when there are no longer any threats to town.

Town Mason Non-Consecutive Night Doctor

• Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Mason Non-Consecutive Night Doctor.

Abilities:

• Town PT access: At any time, you may talk with [Player Name], the Town IC, here [Private Topic link].
• Non-Consecutive Night Doctor: Each night, if you haven't used this ability the previous night, you may target a player. This player will be protected from kills during that night phase. You cannot target yourself.

Win condition:

• You win when there are no longer any threats to town.

Vanilla Townie

• Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Vanilla Townie.

Abilities:

• You have no special abilities.
