A Magical Fairy is a role that removes restrictions on targeting a player (such as from a Commuter or a modifier that limits targeting).

Standard version

A Magical Fairy causes roles that would normally not be able to target the Magical Fairy's target to be able to target the Magical Fairy's target. This would negate the effects of a Commuter or Enchanter, and would allow the Magical Fairy's target to be targeted regardless of modifiers that limit targeting (such as Loyal or Simple).

Variations

Inverted is a modifier that inverts untargetability.

Sample Role PMs

The standardized Role PM for "Magical Fairy" describes the action as follows:

  • As a targeted action: actions that would normally be unable to target your target will be able to target your target. (edit)

Example (simplest form)

Welcome to game! You are a Town Magical Fairy.

You have the following active ability:

  • Each Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, actions that would normally be unable to target your target will be able to target your target.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Confirm by replying to this PM with a summary of your role.

Example (with modifiers)

Welcome to game! You are a Town 1-shot Loud Magical Fairy.

You have the following active ability:

  • Once in the game at Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, actions that would normally be unable to target your target will be able to target your target. Your target will learn that you targeted them (but not what action you targeted them with).

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Confirm by replying to this PM with a summary of your role.
