I haven't been too tactful in editing this, and someone else will probably create a better reference page than BANWORTHY SCREWUP. Nonetheless, I think some reference to Mini 431's discussion thread (http://mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5726&start=0) should be made.

:::IMO, some sort of example needs to be made of those who screw up the games. Vandalism and insults are not the answer, however. :::Yeah, at the least I'd lock any of those pages to registered users, so we don't get the sort of flaming that happened when SC went crazy. But we already record in Newbie Game/History what's happened with some of those games, and a nicely worded summary of what happened will help serve as an example of what not to do. In my opinion (I could very well be assuming too much good will). -- Mr. Flay 16:17, 17 July 2007 (MDT)

Are you sure we should be encouraging what is essentially wiki vandalism at worst and insults at best? -- JDodge 15:43, 17 July 2007 (MDT)
IMO, some sort of example needs to be made of those who screw up the games. Vandalism and insults are not the answer, however. A Hall of Shame thing doesn't seem too out of place to me, but perhaps that's a touch perjorative. If we did make a category for ruined games, I would say that it would be worth presenting both sides, so it doesn't revert to flaming. Also, all the pages should be locked. My 2c. - Shanba

Yeah, at the least I'd lock any of those pages to registered users, so we don't get the sort of flaming that happened when SC went crazy. But we already record in Newbie Game/History what's happened with some of those games, and a nicely worded summary of what happened will help serve as an example of what not to do.
