I'm currently playing in Open 483, Newbie 1341, and Micro 134.

Information

I originally encountered Mafia as a forum game on my old guild website. Though fun, it got old when the same 7-10 people played every single game and they all started making assumptions based on what we did in previous game. Excellent play (on both town and scum sides) was generally punished by an early lynch in the next game, so I went a-hunting for other places to play Mafia on a more regular basis. I came here.

I prefer being scum to town, since I like to know all and pretend I don't rather than quiver at night with a gun in my hand, but I can have a good time as a townie as well.

I do like to actively scumhunt though, and I'm not above hunting the wrong person to get reactions and/or fool the scum (and ofttimes town) as to what I'm about.

This was the second game I signed up for but the first to complete. This game was the Duck, Duck, Goose! format, which blew my mind when I saw it and I absolutely HAD to play it. I did a fairly decent job as scum, reading as town for most folks. We had only two players, since our third RachMarie afk'd out and didn't get replaced by Majiffy until Day 2. There was a spot of bother on Day 3, Klick managed to get me at L-1 in the space of six or so hours, but Wisdom came to my rescue. We managed to quickhammer fuzzybutternut because he started acting weird after my wagon disintegrated and we shot Limo that night for the win. Hardest part by far: Figuring out who to NK or even if we should NK. The winning scumteam was Syryana, JacobSavage, Majiffy.

This game was full of vets and verifiably insane. My slot was also pretty scummy; I was wondering who my partner was until I got the Doc role PM! They lynched the cop on Day 1, my play the next day was a careful attempt to appear just scummy enough to avoid a NK. I voted my lower suspect to generate reactions and to prevent the vets from abandoning my main scumread's wagon thanks to my noobery. I hammered the mafia RB on D2, saved Dazed and Confused from being killed at night, and we lynched the remaining goon D3. The winning town team was: Sotty7, jasonT1981, Dazed and Confused, Cogito Ergo Sum, and Syryana.
