If you are playing a game moderated by Mr Stoofer, you may find it useful to read this page.
If you are in a game moderated by Mr Stoofer, you ought to be aware of the following points:
* I expect all players to have read the Rules and to abide by them. I never cease to be amazed by the number of people who do not read, or ignore, my Rules.
* You can expect to be punished if you break the Rules.
* I do not allow games to drag: as far as I am concerned, no Day should take more than 3-4 real life weeks.
* If you do not post regularly, I reserve the right to replace you without warning or prodding. I am very tolerant and understanding if you give me advance warning of absence, but if you disappear for several days without warning, you cannot complain if you are replaced without prior warning.
* I have my own rule for deadline lynches. At deadline, a player will be lynched if they have a majority of votes being cast - no matter how few votes they have. This means that a player can be lynched if they have only one vote on them (if everyone else is not voting).
* I do not allow "Bah!" posts. Since offenders are necessarily dead and beyond punishment, I reserve the right to modkill or otherwise punish someone from the same team as the offender.
* I take a stricter view than most Mods on acceptable language and abuse of other players. I have zero tolerance for abusive posts.
* I do not like No-Reveal games. You won't see that mechanic in my games.
* My games might include Cults. If that is a problem for you, PM me before signing up. I may be able to re-assure you.

I try to try to adhere to the following principles. Many of these principles are designed to reduce the usefulness of claiming as a method of finding scum. I also like to do things which will amused me.
[Note that I take a slightly different, less strict approach in Newbie Games to accommodate the fact that the players maybe new to the game].

* I aim to design games where trying to outguess the mod will not only be fruitless but positively dangerous.

* I usually post the Town players' win condition.
* I prefer to reveal roles fully upon death but sometimes the game mechanics require partial revelation.
* If a player does not submit a nightchoice in time, I usually deem them not have made any choice; but if it would amuse me more I will pick a choice for them. Or replace them.
* There is no place for random roles in Mafia .
* This is Mafia, so you can't trust anything I say in role PMs or in the thread. But if you ask, I will give you a straight answer as to whether a statment I have made can be relied on or not. 99% of the time I will say: not.
* I mean all of my rules (see below). You should take note of rules 13 and 15 in particular.

My Rules
I put these together myself, with inspiration from MeMe’s and Dragon Phoenix’s rulesets.
[01] Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
[02] Please be attentive and unvote, if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not required, but I’d appreciate it.
[03] Lynching will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, their pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. Feel free to post in twilight, though.
[04] You may vote: no lynch – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
[05] If a deadline is reached with no majority, the day will end without a lynch.
[06] The game is not to be discussed outside the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so – and then only at night.
[07] When I set a day deadline, the deadline lasts until I actually lock the thread.
[08] Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing. Not even a “Bah!” post, please. Save it for after the game is over.
[09] No small or invisible text. Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts either.
[10] Don’t quote any PMs from me. If you do, I will destroy you.
[11] If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me, I’ll make it for you and you won’t like it.
[12] If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
[13] Unlike other mods I am fallible. Please point out any mistakes I make gently. In particular, if I post a vote count that does not accurately reflect your vote, it is your responsibility to correct me. If you don’t your vote may be treated as it appears in the vote count.
[14] If you have any questions at all, please PM me or post the question in the thread.
[15] Remember, it’s a game and it’s supposed to be fun. Be nice to your fellow players and your mod. I have zero tolerance for abusive posts.

If you are in a game moderated by Mr Stoofer, you ought to be aware of the following points:

 • I expect all players to have read the Rules and to abide by them. I never cease to be amazed by the number of people who do not read, or ignore, my Rules.
 • You can expect to be punished if you break the Rules.
 • I do not allow games to drag: as far as I am concerned, no Day should take more than 3-4 real life weeks.
 • If you do not post regularly, I reserve the right to replace you without warning or prodding. I am very tolerant and understanding if you give me advance warning of absence, but if you disappear for several days without warning, you cannot complain if you are replaced without prior warning.
 • I have my own rule for deadline lynches. At deadline, a player will be lynched if they have a majority of votes being cast - no matter how few votes they have. This means that a player can be lynched if they have only one vote on them (if everyone else is not voting).
 • I do not allow "Bah!" posts. Since offenders are necessarily dead and beyond punishment, I reserve the right to modkill or otherwise punish someone from the same team as the offender.
 • I take a stricter view than most Mods on acceptable language and abuse of other players. I have zero tolerance for abusive posts.
 • I do not like No-Reveal games. You won't see that mechanic in my games.
 • My games might include Cults. If that is a problem for you, PM me before signing up. I may be able to re-assure you.
