A [role]-Immune, or Immune, player is immune to a specific power role. The specified role will fail if targeting a [role]-Immune player. If someone is immune to a passive role, that role will not work against that player.

Standard version

Immune is a modular role. Immune needs to be linked to a specific role to be usable. For example, Cop-Immune is a valid version of the Immune role, which would cause Cops checking them to return no result. A [role]-Immune player is not considered to have [role] as their base role.

A player immune to a passive role such as Ascetic is unaffected by that passive role.

Anyone targeting an Immune player with the role they are immune to will have their action fail, though an action that fails because of Immune can still be seen by action investigative roles like Tracker.

Variations

A modifier can be put in where [role] is, allowing something like Loyal-Immune to be immune to any ability with the Loyal modifier for example.

Sample Role PMs

The standardized Role PM for "Immune" describes the passive ability as follows:

  • With no modifier: You are protected from the role "P1". (edit)

Welcome to game! You are a Jailkeeper Immune Townie.

You are protected from the role "Jailkeeper".

You have no active abilities.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Confirm by replying to this PM with a summary of your role.
