Endurance

Endurance is a Large Social Game/ORG format based on the reality competition show of the same name. In the Endurance format, players form 2-person teams and compete in missions, aiming to be the pair that earns all pieces of the Endurance pyramid.

Typical Phases of an Endurance Game

Right to Stay Challenge

Players compete in an initial challenge prior to forming pairs. Occasionally, as a twist, some players may be voted to sit out and automatically advance.

Choosing Teams

This is a competition that occurs at the start of the game. Scoring better in it gives more influence over who you will be paired with. Each pair gains a piece of the pyramid.

Endurance Mission

This is a recurring skill competition for a prize called Samadhi. Samadhi almost always represents a disadvantage to use against another team.

Magic Box

This is a type of competition that earns the winning team an advantage called the Magic Box. It is a less traditional part of the Endurance format.

Temple Mission

This is a recurring competition, often focusing on Endurance. Typically, the winning team chooses two teams to send to the Temple of Fate.

Temple of Fate

This is a recurring pair vs. pair elimination challenge that follows the Temple Mission. The losing team is eliminated, and their pieces of the pyramid are given to another team in the next episode. Often, the eliminated team is allowed to choose who to give these to.

Final Challenge

When only 2 pairs remain in the game, there is a final challenge to determine the game's winner.
