Developer is a role that starts as a vanilla townie, but allows the player to receive a random modifier each night. These modifiers stack, which allows the role to become quite powerful in the late game.

Variations

Occasionally, this role also allows for night or day actions as well as or instead of modifiers. This should be treated similar to a Jack-of-all-trades.

Sometimes, actions do not stack. This is strictly less powerful than the regular role, and players should have a choice whether they want to switch the modifier for another. This can sometimes be X-shot
