This is a variation in which only Cops send in a choice on Night Zero (which occurs prior to the first day). After Night 0, the game resumes at Day 1.
This rule is only used verbatim in Dethy and Too Much Scum; however, Bad Cop, Insane Cop uses a similar rule in which both Cops get a pregame investigation and a Mafia Framer is allowed to frame someone.
