An Agent (not to be confused with an FBI Agent) is an investigative role that checks to see if a player can kill or investigate a player. An Agent cannot distinguish from players capable of killing players and players capable of investigating players.

Standard version

An Agent investigates a player to see if they have an active ability capable of killing or investigating another player. An Agent cannot distinguish from players capable of killing players and players capable of investigating players.

Members of a faction with a factional kill (such as the Mafia) are considered to be capable of killing another player unless the Personal modifier is attached to the Agent. Traitors do not have access to the factional kill and thus are not considered to be capable of killing another player.

Agents get a "Guilty" result on players capable of killing or investigating another player, and an "Innocent" result on players not capable of killing or investigating another player.

Variations

An Agent is a Detective, Psychologist, and Meta-Investigator mixed into one role, getting a positive result if any of those roles would get a positive result.

  • Each Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will learn whether that player is capable of killing or investigating another player. (You will get "no result" if this action is blocked.)

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Welcome to game! You are a Town 1-shot Loud Agent.

You have the following active ability:
