Trouble Communicating is an 11-player open setup without Mafia communication outside the main thread. Every night, the Mafia members who don't submit the night kill have the choice between protecting two town-aligned players and committing suicide.

Setup

Mechanics

  • Daystart
  • Mafia know who their partners are, but have no means of communication outside the main thread.
  • Every night, each Mafia Faith Healer has to choose between protecting two town-aligned players and committing suicide. The protection of a Faith Healer has a 75% chance of success. If multiple Faith Healers target the same person, their protection always fails.
  • Every night, the Gunbearer may perform the factional kill.
  • If the Gunbearer dies, the Backup Gunbearer becomes the new Gunbearer and loses the ability to protect. If both the Backup Gunbearer and the Gunbearer are dead, the Backup Backup Gunbearer becomes the new Gunbearer and loses the ability to protect.
  • The Voyeur's result is "No Result", "Protection", "Failed Protection", "Shooting" or "Failed Protection & Shooting". If a Faith Healer successfully protected the target from a kill, the result is "Protection".
