Random Roles

A Random Role includes an element of chance or luck; for example, a Doctor may only be successful 75% of the time, or a Strongman may only have a 50% chance of withstanding a night kill.
Many players find these roles irritating or bastard modding, as it takes away from their ability to utilize their role effectively (especially when the role's power is active, not passive. A particularly vilified version is the Random Cop, who reveals completely random results no matter who their investigation target is, but does not know this.
Moderators should consider carefully the implications of random chance in their games before including such roles.
