Menacing
Alias:
  • Menace
Alignment: any
Role type:
  • Protective
Choice: none

Menacing is a passive role that causes any action targeting you to fail if it is the only action targeting you.

Standard version

A Menacing player will be immune to any action if they were only targeted by one other player that Night. A Menacing player who was targeted by more than one action during a Night will have all of those actions succeed.

As a passive role, Menacing's protection cannot be roleblocked (in fact, if a roleblock was the only action against the Menacing player, the roleblock fails entirely!).

Variations

Menacing is a Bulletproof Ascetic that can be nullified by being targeted by more than one player.

Increasing the amount of actions needed for Menacing to succeed makes it pretty close to just Bulletproof Ascetic.

Prideful is Menacing but inverted - a role that causes any action targeting you to fail if it is not the only action targeting you.
