As per Vira's orders, editors of this wikipage will be shot on sight unless they are a part of the Secret Society of Liudprand. Those members of the Secret Society know each others' identities and will not tolerate intrusion by the unenlightened.

If you have been contacted by a messenger of The One, then you shall report to the meeting ground at Ronceveaux to begin the initiation rites. Those who pass the test will become entry-level members of the Secret Society. They shall take orders from their elder Brothers or Sisters, who in turn fall under the jurisdiction of an Overseer. These people report directly to the Representative of The One, who is in control of everything in the Land of Erde, and is brother to Vira, master of the Eternal World. Together, Vira and The One constantly battle against their dreaded enemy Harkanitus who rules the Morficus and reigns supreme over The Desolate.

Many millenia ago, Harkanitus' Desolate Legions escaped to destroy those in the Land and the Aerie during the epic War of Desolation. Vira, with her forces of the sky, along with The One and his devout and righteous followers, were ultimately able to fend off the Legions with the aid of two of the Twelve Heroes, those who were called Zill and Arkanis. Few testaments to the will of Zill, Arkanis, and the warriors of the Land of Erde and the Eternal World remain, and their tale is shrouded in mystery. Nevertheless, it is said that Arkanis himself slew a thousand rock hydra in a single day, mounting their heads on the trees to warn the evil minions of Harkanitus. No one ever suspected that one day he would reveal himself to be a treacherous... er... traitor.

Tragically, the great Hero made the horrendous mistake of conversing with undead ninja pirates, and subsequently, through long hours of perilous debating, was convinced of the alleged greatness in store for him should he take their side. Armed with his newly unholy blade, he crushed (quite literally) the Insect Kingdom of Cheinieskus, forcing its inhabitants to flee (no pun) to the Eternal World, where they sought aid from Vira. Unable to directly offer aid, owing to the constant battle with Harkanitus, she called upon the werewolves from the D'ombreterre, who departed immediately for the Kingdom of Cheinieskus, joining with the sparse remaining forces of insect world to drive the evil pirate-ninja zombies away. An epic battle ensued, with surprisingly few casualties, as nearly all of those that did die were, well, already dead.

The role that The Artist and The Author play within the Secret Society of Liudprand are as of yet unknown to the unenlightened. Let it be known, however, that this article of lore is being watched by the Eyes. Should it be decimated, the wrath of the Secret Society will show no mercy.

Let The One guide you.
