Several options have been suggested:

*Only the list mod needs to know so that they can track the game limits of the players in the hydra;
*The game mod has a right to know because they may have a personal blacklist or watchlist of players they do not want in their games;
*The game mod only needs to know that an account is a hydra;
*All players in the game have a right to know only that an account is a hydra;
*All players in the game have a right to know exactly who is part of any hydras in the game;

There is currently controversy in regards to whether these should be legal or normal, due to how differently hydrae play from single-person slots. This is especially true of anonymous hydrae, as some mods and players do not wish to play with certain players who may join the game in a hydra.
