My Story
In the Land of the Long White Cloud, many millions of years ago this small land began to break away from Gondwanaland. With it this land carried a mythical beast that wandered through the Beech forests of the soon to be Marlborough Sounds. This beast frolicked on the hills and mountainsides and began to change form. Slowly but surely this great beast - Tenth Son of the Great Unicorn - morphed to suit it's new environment on this hostile island country now known as New Zealand. Over the many years that had passed since the great breaking of the super continent he lost his horse-like figure... for he lacked the opportunity to bask in the beauty of the radiant rainbows or the pretty pretties (flowers) that kept him in his most astounding form. So he took the appearance of the native Kiwi and used it to hide away from the evil which was beginning to ravage this sacred land. For he knew that if it saw his beauty (all-be-it diminished from the lack of rainbows and pretties) this new-found evil would slaughter him and hunt down his brothers no matter the cost. ... ... So still in the year 2011 he lives, remaining in his kiwi form... till those rainbows and pretties flourish again... till the horn of the Unicorn is risen and sounded for all the brethren to hear... till there are no more babies wailing like mourning doves... till his heart feels the beat from his Great Master - The One True Unicorn.
