Forum Assassin

Forum Assassin or Assassin is a Mish Mash game where a secret group of participants try to eliminate their opponents one by one and become the sole survivor.

Rules & Mechanics

To sign up, prospective players will need to privately message the moderator. The mod should indicate in their game Rules which parts of the forum are legal areas to make assassination attempts in. The mod may also indicate a minimum frequency that players are required to post in in these legal areas.

At game start, the moderator secretly provides each player with a target (another player). To assassinate a target and remove them from the game, the assassin player needs to sandwich a post on the MS forum between two of their own posts. Once the assassin player reports their assassination attempt to the mod with proof, the target is eliminated. The mod will then provide the assassin player with a new target. The mod will usually announce eliminations by stating when they happened, but not who was involved, in the game thread.

Typically, double posts will not protect a player from being assassinated. Players are also not allowed to reveal that they are in the game or who their targets are.
