Firefighter Alias: Volunteer Firefighter Alignment: Pro-town Role type: Protective Linked Choice: Night Notes: linked to Arsonist

A Firefighter is a role that protects against fire-based kills. In traditional flavor, this only allows it to stop kills made by the Arsonist. In effect, it is a Doctor that only protects from Arsonists. If there is no Arsonist in the game for whichever reason, the Firefighter's Night action is useless.

This role is not necessarily pro-Town, but essentially always is.

Use and Power

A role that specifically protects from Arsonist kills is better than nothing, but in practice unlikely to successfully protect and also unlikely to have any power beyond that. Perhaps its biggest value to the game is to act as a hint that there is a role that kills with fire in the game.
