A False Dilemma is when a player confronts another with a situation, and claiming that there is only one reasonable way out, because the only other way out is worse. For example, in a 5 player game with 2 scum:

  • Player A: We have to lynch Player X.
  • Player B: Why?
  • Player A: Well, we either lynch Player X, or we go to No Lynch, but if we go to No Lynch, we'll lose.

This argument is fallacious, because lynching either Player X or going to No Lynch aren't the only possible results to the situation, and so the dilemma is false.
