Band Wagoning is a modifier that causes your action to target the player who was targeted by the most actions that night.

Standard version

A Band Wagoning role may choose to act or not (unless also Compulsive). If a Band Wagoning role acts, they will target the player who was targeted the most that night and use their ability on that target. Band Wagoning roles can be blocked just like a non-Band Wagoning role. A Band Wagoning player may self-target if they happen to be the most targeted player.

Ties may be broken randomly or by using the Natural Action Resolution ladder.

A Band Wagoning investigative role will know who they targeted. This will also give a Band Wagoning investigative role information on who was most targeted that night.

Variations

A Band Wagoning role may be unable to self-target even if they are the most targeted player that night.

• As a modifier that affects all abilities: Your actions will target the player who was targeted the most that night. (edit)

Example (modifying a single ability)

Welcome to game! You are a Town Band Wagoning Jailkeeper.

You have the following active ability:

• Each Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, that player will be protected from kills that night, but all their actions will be blocked that night. This action will target the player who was targeted the most that night.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.
