is lurking a virtue on mafiascum?

mafiascum.net is a good site in terms of facilities (wiki, faq etc) and general policies -- but both ICs in my first game here regarded town lurking for several days at a time as a good strategy, and mod thought posting a couple of times a week was a lot of posts -- i guess that's why other forums say mafiascum is slow -- also, the game wasn't helped by inaccurate vote counts and confusing pm role definitions (which led to the game being decided halfway thru Day 2) -- even more frustrating was getting the "This Account Has Exceeded Its CPU Quota" error message several times when trying to post -- all in all, it was something of an uphill battle -- still i did learn some stuff, so maybe i'll play a couple more games here just in case things get better
