You are an assassin. Your quest is to unseat the current weak government in favor of a new regime. You may choose to claim victory for a group of assassins you may join or attempt to claim all for yourself in which case everyone else must die for you to win. You have a number of abilities at your disposal, but your power is not unlimited. You have 6 points to spend from the following list of possibilities. You may not choose both Obfuscate and the Assassins・guild. If you choose neither, you are a loner with potentially great power, but your identity is not secure. Send me a message back to let me know your choices.
Assassin痴 Powers
3 pts: Obfuscate: no one will know your identity even if you are specifically chosen for investigation. You work alone. Only death will reveal your role.
1pt: Assassins・guild: you know all other assassins who do not obfuscate and may participate in selecting a target to kill each night as well as openly communicate with the other guild members.
1 pt Investigate: during one night you may know the role of one player unless they chose to obfuscate.
2pt: Backstab: you get a one time night kill against anyone.
4pt: Backstab: you may select a player to kill every night.
1pt: Hide: as long as you have not voted for anyone yourself, the vote tally against you is lowered by 1.
2 pt: Cover up: Select one post by any player on any day for deletion once per night. Private message the mod with the poster and time stamp and it will be gone upon receipt of the message.
2 pt: Strong arm: Message the mod with the identity of a player whose vote you wish changed to one of your choice. That player will be messaged by the mod that they must do this in the next 24 hours or die.
1 pt: Last gasp: Anyone who kills you in your personal proximity also dies.

Genetic Engineer: You are a genetic engineer. You have a mind for science and prefer to explore the limits of this world, including human potential. You will go to great lengths for the advancement of your work. You work alone, but you do very innovative work, and you have a very unique opportunity to experiment. You have six points to spend on abilities.
Transform (3 pts) - In this experimental procedure, you have a 25% chance of transforming a player into your minion. The minion must do what you say, and has the ability to kill publicly once per night by eating a victim. You may only transform at night.
Capture (2 pts) - Grab someone during the night and lock them in your closet. Capturing a victim before transforming him increases the success rate of transformation to 100%. You cannot capture and transform in one night; there's simply not enough time.
Poison (3 pts) - Slip poison into another player's drink, killing them by the end of the day.
Manipulate (2 pts) - Force a player to say whatever you want in one post. Player must speak within 24 hours (real-time). To use this power, message the mod with the exact wording of the post you wish them to make.
Research (1 pt) - Discover the abilities chosen by a specific player. This power is usable only once but may be chosen multiple times and may be used multiple times in one day.
Guard Dog (1 pt) - You may hire a guard dog, which will give you a 50% chance of escaping a night kill. The dog has a 50% chance of surviving in any attempt to kill you. The dog will stay with you the entire game, until you die.
Obfuscate (1 pt) - No one will know your identity even if you are specifically chosen for investigation. Only death will reveal your role.

You are a member of the Codex, a secret military organisation designed to remove people from the country side and put them in the urban island environment. You came to this town 3 weeks ago, no-one noticed, no-one cared. In order to cause fear, you use murder and arson to make your point: the countryside is unsafe.

KILL: Killing them is the most practical method of removing someone. You have one bullet. Make it useful ・your firearms training means you have a sure shot with one bullet. That means a body is going to fall, no matter what. It has a 100% chance of success during the day, with a 50% chance of success during the night. It is a onetime use.
NIGHT KILL: Being evil has its up sides. The quadruple entente, otherwise known as Mat, Sjoe, Star Killer and Terror, are a badass group of guys willing to kill quite happily. They like to converse in secret, and are capable of removing someone during the night. Typically, Sjoe, Star Killer and Terror email Mat with who they want to kill ・meeting up is too obvious ・and Mat will carry out the deed. Though if Mat gets killed, well, they haven稚 thought about that yet.

gravedigger- You run the largest funeral home in the region. And that can be attributed to various corners cut and favors granted by the Lodge. You feel obligated to help in any way you can. You are allowed to dig up corpses after they have been buried (in hopes of finding any clues on the bodies). You are allowed to dig up one grave each night. You win after all in opposition to the Lodge have been eliminated.

You are a member of Prison Block 4, or the prison block for Gangsters. You and your cellmates started a riot which caused the death of 1 guard and the evacuation of all but 1 other guard. You are in effect, Mafia. You may choose 2 of the abilities listed below. You also have the choice of being only allowed to use 1 ability per round (by round I mean day and night, so day 1 goes to night 1 goes to day 2 goes to night 2), which will grant you the ability to take a third power. Your choices are as follows:  Binoculars: You may discover the identity of one person. Use at any time.  Kidnap: You may take someone out of the game for a whole day. If another mafia member chooses to use this power on the same guy, you can choose to kill him. Choose during the night.  Assrape: Yes, this does happen in jail. Its rather meaningless other than to give the other person a sore ass. Having a sore ass, however, does make them grumpy. And when people get grumpy, they say stupid things. The person you pick will say something particularly stupid on the next day, completely written by you. Make it as stupid as you like, although saying something to incriminate them is more fun. Contact me the night before asking me to use this.  Double Vote: speaks for itself. Your vote counts as double on 1 day.  The Nightkill power will be randomly assigned to 1 gang person, to help speed up night time choices and get the game rolling fast. That person will have 24 hours to make their choice or it will be re-assigned.

at the moment there are two players: god and satan.
i'm god, i can recruit people into the game to play for my side. satan can do the same.
are you interested in playing for god? there are no players right now, and people who die can come back if god/satan recruits them again. right now i cant vote either, i have to "recruit" myself into the game. i'm like the mod for the good guys :-D

You also have the Resurrection stone: each night you may freely communicate with one dead player (message the mod your choice, you are free to communicate as soon as you've notified me)
Lastly, you know the Fidelus Charm. Before day 1 ends you may choose a person to be your Secret Keeper. As long as the Secret Keeper is alive, you may not be targeted by night skills without his permission. If you do not decide before day 1 ends, this skill is wasted.

A Blaze of Light
Indeed it is a bright time for the New Republic. The Empire is shattered, and even the Hutts have become a kinder and gentler people. Everyone enjoys dancing, pastoral music, and fine wines in moderation. It is as though heaven has spread throughout the galaxy and each of the galaxy痴 residents knows the tranquility of angels. Everyone is so happy they might nearly sprout wings and fly.
But there are some who are not content. It isn稚 enough just to be happy. Happiness is for the weak. Some crave to build something greater. Some enjoy their passions. Moderation and temperance is nearly a form of death. Life! Life requires the spilling of blood and the burning of worlds! Pain! Suffering! Blood! One can not appreciate prosperity without witnessing those who do not have it!
So in the inner circles of power there lurks a dark force not seen for millennia. It is fear, lust, and hatred, but also passion and ecstasy! Such forces would be the undoing of a hundred generations of good will and cooperation. A crime wave of violence has erupted on Coruscant and it is nearly certain the roots of it have poisoned society all the way to the top levels of business, military and government. It is left to a small group of powerful citizens to discover their dark side and tame it or be destroyed by it.
Choose an occupation: This information will be made public.
Merchant: You represent the economic power of the New Republic. As such you have the power to end the voting for any given day. Simply post a message in bold. There will be a 6 hour grace period. The one with the highest vote count will be frozen. If there is a tie, then the day will simply end. You can do it every day.
Senator: You represent the political power of the New Republic. As such your vote will count double.
Jedi: You represent the military power of the New Republic. As such you will automatically have an additional chance to win a duel.
Allegiance: Choose light or dark and then choose a power. This will be kept private.
Light Side: You are committed to goodness. You win when the dark side is eliminated. Once per day you may search for a friend. Message the mod to ask about another player. If they are dark side, you see this corruption on their soul but you will not know its exact nature. You may continue your search for a friend the next day. If they are light side, you may communicate with them or assist them in duels. Once you have found a friend, you may not search anymore.
Choose one of the following:
Fighting Prowess: You gain an additional chance to win a duel.
Escape Duel: You may nullify a duel declared on you once per day. If a second duel is declared you must fight it.
Dark Side: You are an agent of evil. You win when the Light Side is eliminated. You automatically gain one additional chance to win a duel. You may initiate a duel by simply making a bold post in the game thread.
Choose one of the following:
Fighting prowess: You gain an additional chance to win a duel.
Force Lightning: Once per day you may select a target. 4 chances in 6 they die. 1 in 6 you die. 1 in 6 both of you die.
Apprentice: Choose another player. If they are dark side and have an apprentice or are themselves a claimed apprentice, then choose again, if they do not, then they become your apprentice. You may now communicate freely and assist each other in duels. If they are Light Side then you merely recognize an enemy and will need to attempt to find an apprentice the next day. This power is first come first serve. If you are selected as an apprentice and have this power, you may not use it until your master dies.
Resolving Combat: Duels end days. Once a duel is declared the players will have 6 hours to cast votes to gain a majority or the duel will be resolved. Each combatant will be assigned a number of chances to win based on how they set up their character. For example, a Dark Side Jedi initiates a duel against a Light side merchant who also happens to have fighting prowess. Another Jedi offers assistance, and finally a dark side senator apprenticed to the initial Dark Side Jedi joins the battle. The chances to win are 3:2:2:2 respectively. A random number from 1 to nine is then generated selecting a winner. Let it be the Jedi that offered assistance had one of his numbers chosen. He is now a definite winner of the duel and is removed from further calculations. Since the merchant is on the same side as the Light Jedi, it only remains to determine which member of the dark side comes out alive. They make 5 chances. 3 chances for the Dark Jedi to live and but 2 for the Dark Senator.
Character Descriptions: When you make your choices on the hard details of your character, you should also provide a description of your character. This may include physical traits, relationships, ancestry, history or any other characteristics you wish to describe. This game my require balancing by giving additional abilities to one side or the other if the game appears lopsided. Those who provide the best character descriptions will be given preferential treatment if it becomes necessary to adjust the game balance.
This description may include the gross fact of you being a Jedi, Merchant or Senator, but should not divulge your allegiance to the light side or the dark. Limit your description to 100 words please. We are going for creativity not quantity.

Once per day you may search for a friend. Message the mod to ask about another player. If they are dark side, you see this corruption on their soul but you will not know its exact nature. You may continue your search for a friend the next day. If they are light side, you may communicate with them or assist them in duels. Once you have found a friend, you may not search anymore. Choose one of the following: Fighting Prowess: You gain an additional chance to win a duel. Escape Duel: You may nullify a duel declared on you once per day. If a second duel is declared you must fight it.

Dark Side: You are an agent of evil. You win when the Light Side is eliminated. You automatically gain one additional chance to win a duel. You may initiate a duel by simply making a bold post in the game thread. Choose one of the following: Fighting prowess: You gain an additional chance to win a duel. Force Lightning: Once per day you may select a target. 4 chances in 6 they die. 1 in 6 you die. 1 in 6 both of you die. Apprentice: Choose another player. If they are dark side and have an apprentice or are themselves a claimed apprentice, then choose again, if they do not, then they become your apprentice. You may now communicate freely and assist each other in duels. If they are Light Side then you merely recognize an enemy and will need to attempt to find an apprentice the next day. This power is first come first serve. If you are selected as an apprentice and have this power, you may not use it until your master dies.

Resolving Combat: Duels end days. Once a duel is declared the players will have 6 hours to cast votes to gain a majority or the duel will be resolved. Each combatant will be assigned a number of chances to win based on how they set up their character. For example, a Dark Side Jedi initiates a duel against a Light side merchant who also happens to have fighting prowess. Another Jedi offers assistance, and finally a dark side senator apprenticed to the initial Dark Side Jedi joins the battle. The chances to win are 3:2:2:2 respectively. A random number from 1 to nine is then generated selecting a winner. Let it be the Jedi that offered assistance had one of his numbers chosen. He is now a definite winner of the duel and is removed from further calculations. Since the merchant is on the same side as the Light Jedi, it only remains to determine which member of the dark side comes out alive. They make 5 chances. 3 chances for the Dark Jedi to live and but 2 for the Dark Senator.

Character Descriptions: When you make your choices on the hard details of your character, you should also provide a description of your character. This may include physical traits, relationships, ancestry, history or any other characteristics you wish to describe. This game my require balancing by giving additional abilities to one side or the other if the game appears lopsided. Those who provide the best character descriptions will be given preferential treatment if it becomes necessary to adjust the game balance.

This description may include the gross fact of you being a Jedi, Merchant or Senator, but should not divulge your allegiance to the light side or the dark. Limit your description to 100 words please. We are going for creativity not quantity.
