Any not-mafia explicitly-named Godfather would fall under unreasonable moderator lies and would be a [[bastard]] role. A mod is free to run a bastard game with Godfather as a [[Town]] role, but it would take many more games played after that one to change the standard. Godfather is a name given exclusively to Mafia members. I've seen Town Godfathers, which are essentially named townies. -Pernicious Parrot
