Games played by Shadow

Here you are, all my games in more or less chronological order:

Newbie 929

role: Vanilla Townie

outcome: lynched D1, town loss

The obligatory newbie game. Really bad performance by most players, including myself. Town is literaly brought down by VIs. Wanna see vanilla claim cop with guilty on another vanilla?! You'll find it here!

Mini 943: Greek Mythology

role: Apollon, god of light, allignment confirmed mason/1-shot nightskipper

outcome: endgamed, town loss

Very fun game with a crazy outcome. Suffered a bit from follow the cops syndrome (correct: cops, not cop - half of the town roles had some kind of access to investigative abilities). Basically we had all scum identified D3, but lost to a hidden scum wincon after an overeager town blindly voted for a quicklynch and I failed to have the quick-wittedness of preventing a scum hammer. Note: Thinking and cooperation wins games for town, negelcting either can always cause a loss, especially in a theme game.

Newbie 958

role: mafia goon

outcome: lynched D2, mafia victory

My first game as mafia. I replaced into this game prestressed by a very scummy predecessor. Realizing my partner was the IC, Incognito, who's got an impressive scum record, I decided to do a really agressive bold scum attempt which let to me being investigated by the cop and and take him down with me (you really shouldn't tunnel on your guilties as cop). The gambit paid off and allowed my partner to win in LyLo.

Open 221 - unclean

role: vanilla townie

outcome: lynched D1, town loss.

Another game in which I replaced some VI, just to find myself at L-1 facing a town too lazy to actually hunt scum, eventually being lynched... Town proceeds to remain passive into a well deserved, yet unexciting mafia victory.

Mini 986: Beatles Mafia

role: Maxwell's Silver Hammer, 2-shot vig

outcome: endgamed D3, town loss

I make a horrible mistake with my PMs night one, ending up sending my target switch PM to myself instead of the mod which results in me killing our doc instead of scum. Overall bad play by town, especially some really VIish actions as our 1-shot hider totally screwing up his role claim in every imaginable way, lead us down a steep slope to total annihilation. Even the most obvscum player, my failed N1 target, survives until late game... Really really sad...

Mafia 1010: Perpetual MyLo

role: vanilla townie

outcome: lynched D3, town loss

Final Verdict: Classic case of VI-epidemic. Count in serious mod errors reaching deep down into the very conception of this game and a setup that is just heavily disfavouring town (about 24% win chance) and this comes out to have been just impossible to win. Still the basic idea is thrilling and deserves further attention.

Newbie 990

role: vanilla townie (as SE)

outcome: survived, town victory

A really easy game, considering we faced a double newb mafia. I replaced in at the beginning of D2 and we manage to find the first scum, though struggling with my catchup and hence lurking through the day to a certain degree. Second scum quickhammers his partner and I call him out for it on D3. I also found our cop on D2 and with help of his claim I manage to have the second scum killed on D3.

Newbie 1012

role: vanilla townie (as IC)

outcome: lynched D2, town loss

I let a very strong (and as it turns out accurate) scum read slip throgh my fingers because he replaces out on D1 and instead get entangled in a pointless argument with one of the SEs (the other SE was scum playing the helpful SE card...). The end of D1 is a freaking chaos with lots of abysmal waggons emerging and disintegrating as close as hours before DL. When I happened to be waggoned to L-1 - with quite some scum participation - I claim cop to play killbait and determine setup at D2. Unfortunately some town newbs decided to quicklynch me for it on D2 when I revealed my gambit, further playing into the hands of scum. One scum does a bad slip on D3, but that's not enough for the remaining newbies to win the game against SE scum in LyLo.

Open 262-Hard Boiled!

role: Bene Gesserit, Vanilla Townie

outcome: lynched D4, town loss

LyLo loss against Shotty-scum of all people... Every one agreed he was town because confirmed scum had pressed so hard for his lynch on D2. Town PRs played a good night game, but scum was even more successful in picking out the PRs so the deciding tracker result could never reach the surface of day play.

Mini 1093: Dramonic's Fates Mafia

role: Clotho, first of the Fates (doctor, night-talk-less Mason with the other two Fates, Plum(Atropos, Vig) and xReckoneRx(Lachesis, Cop))

outcome: survived, perfect town win

Perfect town win just sums it up, got the lover scum pair D1, vigged scum from 2nd team N1, successfully protected townie from kill and investigated last scum for free lynch on D2. Sadly this went as quickly as a marathon game and I missed most of the cool day action and even got both my hammer votes ninjaed away by someone else.

I also played a good amount of marathon games, but right now I'm too lazy to list those, can't find the site move day games anywhere in the forums, any way...

Shadow's personal Blacklist

Recent events convinced me that blacklisting players is actually worth the effort. This is mostly for future modding purposes, but you can safely assume that I'll stay/replace out of games with a listed player in it. It is not my intention to expose people, hence I am not going to post any reasons for my blacklisting, but for transparency I'll give you the player names. If I find out that some one is an alt of some one I blacklisted I will take apropriate actions.
