Conspiracy Mafia, a weird game, where the players were randomly assigned alignments and we had to send the mod a pm guessing what their alignment was. This was a 2 person game and was a little weird. LolWUT, a bastard game. I rolled town interceptor. This was my first time winning in lylo as town. I think the set up is important to note here: Rem (Town interceptor), Hana Sakura (Self-vig), Rubicon (Town Wishmaker), Marquis (Hated town member, I think he needed to get lynched?) and Wisdom (Mafia, Mimic). Day one, I went after Rubicon after a slow (for a marathon game) start, because he kept saying what I was saying, after I said it (and I'm very conscious of that lately), he got lynched but used his wish to undue the lynch. Marquis was trolling by trying to lynch Rubicon again, I thought he was a Jester and was pretty much screaming at them the whole time, lol. They went through with the lynch anyway. I watched Rubicon (This was apparently a derp move), and Sakura Hana self-vigged (Which probably topped my move as far as derp goes, lol), thankfully I stated that maybe Sakura had been intercepted by me, and that's why it said she self-vigged. Wisdom had just claimed mimic, "confirming" her role as self-vig, because of how weird that role was, there was room to doubt Wisdom, and he immediately responded by acting very confident about the claim. Rubicon, dug into me as a possible scum interceptor (initially suspecting wisdom), but I voted Wisdom due to making an irrelevant comment, that felt like something you would do to stick to the side lines as scum. However, I felt very worried about Rubicon, so I tried to exploit the inability to preview in marathon games, by immediately unvoting. fortunately, Wisdom counter voted, so Rubicon could still hammer, so Rubicon confirmed himself, by not hammering me. However while that was going on, Wisdom slipped up by immediately counter and then asking a question after, even though he technically couldn't be sure Rubicon was town (and didn't really ever give any indications of believing the claim). So it made, it apparent (to me anyway), that he was scum and I could exploit that to get a head start (along with the preview exploit unvote), Rubicon pretty much went after me for a while, but listened to me eventually because I explained that the mimic role was probably designed to steal his wishmaker role, which convinced him to hammer for town victory.

Lucid Dreamers II: Dreamers WIN Funniest game ever. That's the title. I was a dreamer (a nightmare is scum). Essentially it is a bastard game where a player can "request" the mod do anything at night, if the mod thinks they can handle it (and it won't break the game) they will allow it. The first night action I did, was a night investigation that concluded itself in the day by the mod saying the investigatee (if guilty) had his parade rained on. He would do this even if I died. I tried to keep it balanced (so that the mod would accept it), by subjecting it to ambiguity via the announcement. Since I banked the mod would be okay since a conventional guilty/not guilty on day one would essentially play out the same, regardless of how it was announced (I wouldn't sacrifice myself for one mislynch as scum). I investigated correctly and Waynegg got his parade rained on. He was lynched in short order. Since I explained how it worked and I could essentially have investigations go through even if I died, I assumed the scum team would be panicking, and trying to get NK me, so I protected myself (They didn't bite :( ). A very unlucky Lucky2U(nightmare) got killed by a stray chat restriction day kill (first person to double post got killed, lol), and the last nightmare (Who) became obv. scum due to "doubting" another mod confirmed player. I thought ahead better this time and wanted to ensure the win, so I used a lighting rod on who, assuming that the worst that could happen is that I killed a troublemaker dreamer. But the redirected (redirected, lol) kill got sent back at him and he died due to the lightning rod. The mod worried that accepting the lightning rod was a mistake, but if he had said no, I would have just either rain paraded investigated him, or role blocked him (was planning on role blocking if denied).

That said, I don't really think people were trying to win too hard (The scum team were inventing fake chat restrictions, and trying to figure out if it was worth it to rick rolerize people in the chat, lol) Most of the moves were genuinely funny, here are the actual night actions.

Night 1

Remembrance investigates waynegg (if guilty, mod posts that it rained on his parade publicly)
DP reveals alignment publicly of third person who posts.
Prohawk watches Waynegg (Remembrance visited)
EspeciallyTheLies follows DP (gets what action he performed, but not target) (Fails cuz dies)
Marquis post restricts Lucky2U (must post on each page for rest of game and in small text for rest of day)
Sakura Hana investigates ETL (Fails because reversed)
Lucky2U makes whatever Sakura does have the opposite effect (I determined this to be ETL investigating Sakura, which failed cuz ETL dies)
TMT roleblocks the first person to target him
Waynegg treestumps PH (what a dick)
Who kills ETL

Night 2
Remembrance self-BPs (one day cycle)
DP protects Sakura
Sakura kills Marquis
TMT gives Sakura Hana a post restriction of having to use the three words "I", "Am", and "Scum" in every post (She may not say she has a post restriction)
Lucky2U kills the first person that votes the next day.
Prohawk can't do shit cuz he's stumped.
Marquis makes first person to double post die.
Who kills DP

Night 3
Sakura kills Who
Remembrance lightning rods Who (shouldn't have been allowed)
Who makes Sakura's action target Remembrance
TMT investigates Marquis (WHO IS ALREADY DEAD so I lold)

Hi there.

Newbie 1320. Town Victory. I was vanilla town. I tried to lynch both town power roles day 1 and 2 and got them to claim. I was a true-blue newbie this game. Unfortunately, the scum got sandwiched with a bunch of theory from our PR set up. It basically made it impossible to win after day 3, especially after our Jail keeper blocked the kill and our cop investigated and caught Rob13(mafia thug). I replaced out mid-day 2, and replaced back in day 4 to clear up remaining confusion of a possible fake claim by our cop. We reached a compromise, and /no lynched that day and Zephyr (our cop) investigated my scum read. I was right. Overall evaluation: Scum: competent, especially when it came to choosing night kills. Town: Healthy, a lot of discourse and ideas being thrown around. A bit of paranoia in the end, but the player's heart was in the right place. :)

Micro 137 Less Pressure Mafia. Ns invited me, I could never turn him down <3. Nightless, two mislynches to win. Mac and Goodmorning were my buds. Wisdom, Thenewearth, Bacde,Serrapaladin(IC)Sivure(IC)were town. I replaced in as endangered scum, I did okay and managed to get the wagon off me. The wagon naturally shifted to #2 scummy. He got lynched and then Bacde voted Wisdom and I scum slipped like a pro. Thankfully, Goodmorning and Mac were on and a coordinated (within a minute) vote train won us the game before Bacde could unvote, it was risky and she would have made it if we were even a little delayed, literally unvoting on the same minute the last vote came in. I got complimented :D.

Newbie 1343: Boatsauce. I got newbie lynched, or rather I almost got newbie lynched then I got mod killed for posting something alignment indicative on my wiki because I thought I was going to die. Derp. Did not get neutral survival'd so it counts as a win. Woot. Will elaborate when less busy.

Newbie 1339: Town. Replaced in. Lost. Will elaborate when less busy. Most posts on the first day in a newbie game, which was mostly my fault.

Mini-1429: Hunt in the Dungeon. Town win. I was a one-shot vig. This was a highly successful PR game, where almost everyone made the right decisions.Day 1: I came in with very good reads, Revenus ended up being the lynch that day of which all of the scum were on his wagon. Day 2: I caught one scum by shooting the highest information lynch (who was town, woops)and then voting the person who associated with him the next day(Don_Johnson). He responded poorly, and scum slipped. I hesitated for a bit, but Slandaar brought us back on track for the first kill. The second day, Slandaar correctly pointed to KBW as the next scum, but our gunsmith (Mac) had gotten Delta a positive on Delta who had just claimed vanilla town. He was the lynch that day and the next day KBW was investigated and that was the end of it. On day 3 I mostly pushed 2 town members as scum, but they were not.

Micro: The Cult 2. This game had a lot of old faces and some new ones. This was a painful game for me to play as, I began as town. And tried to get Kid A lynched, Day 2. But we actually ran out of time and couldn't get the lynch through. The cult leader(AP) got ultra lucky and recruited the protector (GIF) who could keep him alive when the apostate recruits. I tried to get Yoshi (who replaced out), Kid A and Delta lynched (all of them were town). On day 3 I was recruited. I didn't have to do much since it was pretty much in the bag, once more the town couldn't decide on a lynch and we just /no lynched to victory the next day.

Newbie 1361: The Ninja Council. I replaced in as vanilla town, I had very good town reads and suggested a town block. I got nked day 1. The rest of the game was somewhat slow. Ultimately our cop was ridicously townie throughout the game and so when he claimed a guilty in mylo there wasn't much actual resistance and the other scum had been counter claimed as confirmed innocent so the scum team was essentially stone walled.

Gonzo Mafia: This was a really long and difficult game. :) I was a day 1 town doctor and we lost. It was a diffusion type where there were a lot of 1 shot cops and docs. I was mislynched on the 5th day. This game lasted 3 months and I've never tried so hard to win at mafia. The game broke the record for most posts in a minigame by a few hundred posts.

Icebox hydra: A hydra of myself and Guyinfreezer.

Bork's game: We got universally read as town, GIF covered for my screw ups and I explained myself a little better this game. We pushed a lynch on dripping goofball day 1 (that was wrong) then got Nked day 1. We wasted the strongarm ability of the mafia. It was a very hectic (and later emotionally charged) game that often exploded out of nowhere. There was a lot of good plays by the town, but also a lot of frustration replace outs. The first day there was town (with all town) block that was about to form, but unfortunately, it didn't make it. Our innocent child (selkies, another hydra: Orc and ff)claimed PGO and got spared, the first day. But the fake claim got called by both the Doc and mafia the next day, which resulted in a catastrophe for the scum team.

Marathon games.

Mini normal: VT. Town won. Nachopappa did really well this game and pretty much made all the right decisions. PirateMollie had a good investigation. I got called out for "role fishing" again, but thankfully one of the scum claimed hider and hid behind me, so I was "confirmed" town which permanently relieved the pressure on me, but didn't stop me from voting him. The scum hider didn't make it far due to PM's investigation and how quickly the scum claimed in reaction to that, especially after when we learned of a town commuter.

Newbie 6 box. VT. Town lost. I did not have the power to convince people to lynch a Majiffy/Nacho scum hydra (oh my god) and I got players capable of lynching me on my ass. Was hammered for the scum win. ._. We should have no lynched, but ultimately we just got walked into the grave.

Supersaint games. I played four of them, the people in it were cool. 3 town wins 1 loss as a 3rd party (Jester, all 3 of us were jesters).

The games individually were funny, but what was especially funny is that out of the 4 role pm's I received I only understood one of them. Because of that, hijinks ensued and I would either accidentally go against my win con or fool other players into thinking I was purposely fucking with them and I was lying about my claim (and therefore that it was safe to hammer me, woops, I was a vengeful supersaint and scum hammered me).

Vengeful: Scum Lost. Apparently it was a really town sided set up, but I disagree. I essentially had to avoid the vengekill 4 times to win out of 6 players. Fuzzy got lynched, with my insistence he was town, I convinced him to shoot KA. Then KA shot me, because he thought I was scum and he was right. I sounded too sure of myself, I suppose. Even if KA hadn't shot me, I would have lost. Because it took 4 to lynch and we thought it took 3 to lynch, and Fuzzy "fake hammered" which resulted in a town slip by one of the players and one of them calling out the town slip. Which sealed them both being town.

Deathy mafia. A cop variant, with all the different cop roles (insane, sane, naive, paranoid, and the last one which I forgot) in them. I rolled scum. Another apparently town sided set up. I was having a lot of difficulty keeping up in this game, mostly due to my inexperience when it comes to interpreting roles and investigation results. I'm pretty weak on flavor interpretation, and working to survive was very difficult for me. I made a mistake by calling someone "innocent" instead of not guilty when claiming my investigation (night 0, I didn't know there would be one), which was more of a habit I tend to have than an actual scum slip. But it got interpreted as one, and I definitely, definitely responded the wrong way to the suspicion. And should have just told them truthfully it was a habit, because I really don't think that wording matters as far as investigation results go as far as those two words are concerned. What really sucked, is that almost everyone investigated everyone else day one, which allowed them to quickly interpret the results and have good standing as far as interpreting which role they were. Luckily, I made a good kill day 2, someone was confirmed, but I killed someone else, which luckily lead to the town getting blind sided, because one town player investigated a dead target, and it stopped anymore bleeding as far as investigations went. The next day 4 person lylo, and we had 2 confirmed towns and me and the other guy. My sane/naive cop to the other players cop had bad odds against my favor. I tried, but ultimately they went with the odds and I got lynched.

Conspiracy Mafia, a weird game, where the players were randomly assigned alignments and we had to send the mod a pm guessing what their alignment was. This was a 2 person game and was a little weird. We both picked up town alignments. We both thought the other was town, I started to hesitate, but the mod picked up the message before I could throughly investigate the matter. We both won.

Appeals:

Now, before I go to bed I would just like to say one last thing to all of you. I imagine at this point Zephyr is preparing a large argument, working the wheels in that ol' noggin of his and hoping that Kuro will be a sufficient distraction to get people off his case. But before you post that, and convince me, convince me hard with your amazing argument that absolutely obliterates my sunk cost fallacy and hard-earned confirmation bias, I would like to make an argument in return sir. I call it:

An appeal to pity

As you know, I am a complete newbie at this game, I am tiny, inexperienced, and frankly, have no clue what I'm doing. You were here, once Zephyr, you were here. In my shoes. Now, I wanted to start off my first game with a bang, Zephyr, a bang. I imagine that most newbies get lynched within the first day, maybe the second if they're lucky. Unable to defend themselves and contradicting themselves all over the place they're found easy targets by wiser scum who don't want to waste the night kill. For them, it is like taking candy from a baby Zephyr, Candy. From. A baby. You wouldn't steal candy from a baby would you Zephyr? No, of course you wouldn't. You're better than that. As you know, I will one day get out of this newbie pool and enter the big kids table, with their glassy stares and scarred, sexy visages, cigars in their mouths, with a stony continence. they'll have that on me, Zephyr they'll have stories. but I won't. Not unless you do something for me. I am appealing to your humanity when I ask you to do this, with my tiny voice I am stretching my deflated lungs here. I am pleading with you, Zephyr, please take your vote, the vote that changes everything, the vote that defines you as a human being in this place, and vote to kill yourself. I am asking this of you for you this for two reasons: 1) I want to be the first newbie that convinced scum(or town) to kill himself with his own vote on his first day with an appeal to pity argument. I will be remembered for this, take a look at my name Zephyr, I don't desire much, I just want to be...Remembered. 2) I will take it as a formal apology for forcing me to read your league of legends posts while examining your meta, I felt sick afterward.

That is all. I expect to see a dead body in here when I wake up. Have a good evening guys!

The taste of sweet, sweet town victory. MMMM.

Gather round kiddos: it's story time!

An Appeal to Mercy

Hello everyone, I have come back from the dusty badlands for NobodySpecial's special someone. No boyfriend should have to write flavor text about the lynching of his girlfriend, it isn't right! Moreover, Rachmarie did not kill anyone! Rob13 did all of it. Think about Rob13's meta, the killing of Cub was entirely his playstyle and line of thinking. There is no doubt in my mind that Rob did the devilish deed. More evidence for your consideration, Prohawk bravely prevented Rob from killing just yesterday. This means he was double dipping, the cur! Rob is a hands-on killer and the mastermind. He deserved what he got *spits on Rob's dangling corpse.* Yes, Insanity was his accomplice, but he was insane! In the good old U.S. of A, a plea of insanity is considered grounds for forced admission to a mental hospital NOT execution of a pure, but poorly constructed mind. Mrs. Marie dutifully replaced into a slot with a troubled history. Yet, there has been no blood split. I know, in my heart, this is because she could not bear to kill us simple towns folk. She is innocent, innocent I say! I do this in part because Nobody has been good to me, and really, hasn't he been good to all of us? He has educated us in the ways of Mafia and he should be spared, spared from this horrific farce of a trail. We owe him. In closing I suggest we do as the Ancient Athenians once did, a wise society that always left the door open. I humbly request that Rachmarie be exiled from this heart broken and war torn community, so that we may be at peace. Hasn't there been enough death already? Do the right thing /Exile RachMarie.

Sheep me

Vanilla Town. Yes, I imagine many of you are shocked that I am vanilla town. Before I get lynched, I think you should know that I'm only defending myself for you guys, let me explain:

Appeal to Consequence The case against me is pretty much that I'm trying too hard. I recommend you stop, not because I'm town, but because it will be too painful for you to lynch me. See, there's a psychological effect called cognitive dissonance. It's when your expectations do not cohere with reality. I imagine many of you have felt slight pain when being wrong about a player you tunneled in mafia. Pain, and then anger. This anger will approximate two types of responses, "It was his fault for playing scu--oh wait" and "I isoed him just now and it was really obv. he was town." To the first, the cognitive dissonance will be hard and fast, enhanced by my pro-town play, it will be hard to rationalize. Nevertheless, I have faith you'll eventually come to the conclusion that it was my fault. As Yoda used to say, "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate and hate, leads to suffering" That's not cool guys, the dark side is cool, but debilitating psychological pain, not so much. The latter group of players are fooling themselves into believing that if they just looked hard enough, they would have instantly discerned that I was town and that it was okay, because it's not that they're incapable of investigation: it's just that they couldn't be bothered to. There's a special place in my heart for slackers, but it's coated in saturated fats and cholesterol. Cognitive dissonance damages our identity and self-confidence, I implore you to reconsider this action, not for me, but for yourselves. And if not for yourselves, at least for the newbies who will be experiencing it for the first time in mafia. Shit's painful yo.

Feel free to leave comments and hellos below this sentence. :)

Hi there! - GiF

It said feel free but it just feels awkward
