Personal Info
24 years old, male. I have a joke/alt account called SPAMBOTv3, which I used to play one newbie game and to fool around in the endless story thread, and which I accidentally outed in the game I played on it. I may or may not use him to play in future games, depending on my mood.
I royally sucked in my first two games, and I lost them both. Since then I've gone 5 and 1, hope I can keep that up.
I try not to keep a particular playstle as either scum or town, but I'm generally among the most active players in any given thread, I hate lurkers and I have a tendency to be tempted to try and get away with unconventional plays. Some people find me a bit 'abrasive' on occasion, though I can't imagine why ;)
I'd say my strength is in my ability to avoid suspicion without resorting to lurking. I've never been lynched, and other than replacing in for a scummy townie on Day 3, I've never been bandwagoned past 2 votes outside the RVS. That's a boon to me as both scum and town, I think.
My scumhunting track record has been pretty average, with some good catches but also a good amount of mislynches that I was pretty sure of. I feel like this is one of the main areas where I can try to improve---hopefully gaining some meta on other players by playing more games will help me there.
I think I have more fun and scumhunt better when I start a game out rather than replacing in, but I've replaced into 5 of my 8 games, probably because I'm too impatient to wait in the queue. I've never replaced out.

My first scum game, and my first non-newbie. I had a great scumpartner in Percy, which helped a lot. We managed a flawless victory after outing all town power and killing the SK by the beginning of D2, and I made it through the game without being voted a single time, cruising on mislynches of scummy townies. Probably the most fun I've had in a game of mafia so far. |

Our doctor got herself modkilled D1, and our Vig killed town twice, choosing to kill a second time even when he was warned that a second townkill would lose the game for us. He would have in fact lost the game for us, but the scum actually *forgot* to submit their nightkill that night, and we had another day. On that day, in LyLo, I managed to catch Toro in a lie and outed his fakeclaim, but ended up voting to lynch Banana 563, a townie, for a similarly stupid mistake and because he had more votes, rather than pushing my case on Toro. At that point, I was so disgusted with the game that I just wanted it to be over, and getting Banana lynched was less effort. |
| Mini 836 - Commie Mafia | Kublai Khan | Vanilla Townie | Replaced Mid-Day 3 | Survived | Win | I started out in a really bad situation in this game, replacing one of two prime lynch targets at a time when a mislynch would put us in MyLo. Through a combination of argument and a mix of WIFOM, gambiting, and outright bullying, I managed to shake up the thread, survive, and help defend and save the other lynch target, Debonair Danny DiPietro, who also replaced a player the town had been tunneling on, and who was town. We ended up mislynching anyway, but then went on to out scum in MyLo with Danny sealing the deal on both scum. I didn't really do much to help find scum in this game, but a win is a win and I was glad to do my part. |
