A Passive Role is one which has no ability to choose when or how to use their special powers. Examples include the Bulletproof Vest, Bomb, and Lovers.
Some players find these roles irritating, or at the least no more interesting than a Vanilla Townie. However they require little to no skill, and have a lesser chance than some Active Roles of disrupting the Game Balance.
