In October 2006, MafiaScum experienced another moderate-sized crash. The reason is still not knownVerify?, but several days of posts were lost and other strange bugs crept into the forums afterward. Nearly simultaneously, CPU quota errors popped up and Bluehost shut the site down temporarily.
Eventually things were sorted out and the site came back up, but some games have struggled with finding replacements ever since.
