So far I've managed to replace into a game where I already had the majority of the lynch votes.  Not only could I not talk my way out of it but I managed to get myself lynched faster.  I don't exactly know what to take away from my experiences here, except that perhaps I need to stick to the newbie games and read more finished games before I jump into more advance games.

Open 60 (Mob, Loss, Lynched on Day 4)

So far I've managed to replace into a game where I already had the majority of the lynch votes. Not only could I not talk my way out of it but I managed to get myself lynched faster. I don't exactly know what to take away from my experiences here, except that perhaps I need to stick to the newbie games and read more finished games before I jump into more advance games.

Lessons learned:
1) it's really easy to talk yourself into circles
2) People have no qualms about using deceptive tactics to achieve their goals.
3) Only role-claim under extreme circumstances, and if you do role-claim (even if you lie about it) stick to it until the end
4) Trying to avoid a lynch is not one of the circumstances in which to role-claim
