When a [[Mafia]] member pretends to have one of the [[Information Roles]], with the intent to get someone lynched based on a phony investigation, and then pleads insanity to back his claim.  Named after Lepton, the [[GL]] player who made it famous.

When a [[Mafia]] member claims an [[Information Roles]], to get a townie lynched off of a fake guilty investigation, and then claims to be an Insane information role to back their claim.   


Note: Lepton wasn't a [[Cop]] ''or'' [[Scum]] in the game this phrase appeared in. He misread his emails and came forward with an investigation result on [[Day]] 1 and Samadhi accused him of trying to pull off the trick.

Due to the Insane modifier being considered [[Bastard]] by most players and moderators, this tell is now obsolete in all but the most explicitly [[Bastard]] Games.
