A closer look found that it was a "modified Deathy game", with a link provided to the [[Deathy]] article (which no longer exists) on the mafiascum.net wiki. James Denholm is a high school student who found out about Mafia while on a 3-month-long school camp to Thailand, by playing a face-to-face version with twenty-four other people about seven times between January and March, 2007. Good fun.
He found out about mafiascum.net while browsing the Forum Games at anywherebb.com on the first of February, 2009, and was intrigued by a strange "Werewolf" game, which was in it's 8th initiation.
