The [[Inquisitor]] is a self-aligned neutral with aspects of both the [[Serial Killer]] and the [[Cult Leader]].  Each [[Night]] (or [[Day]] in [[Nightless]] games), the Inquisitor may target a player.  The Inquisitor will first attempt to kill that player; should he be unable to do so (due to passive abilities such as the [[Bulletproof Vest]] or roles such as the [[Doctor]]), he will then attempt to recruit that player.  A player recruited by the Inquisitor may or may not retain his or her former abilities (note that, if the Inquisitor is allowed to recruit Mafia, then recruits should not be able to retain factional abilities such as the Mafia nightkill).
