The Guard, a role that accompanies the Beloved Princess, knows the identity of the Beloved Princess and works during the daytime to prevent her death. Depending on the case, the Guard can also recieve as a night power a set number of protections to use on the Princess, an automatic protection, or an automatic protection that also results in the Guard's death.
The Guard's win condition is to have the Princess alive at the end of the game, but the role also works when his win condition is that of a standard Townie.
