About Me

Hey all. I didn't play in any Newbie games because I felt that I had read enough to know what was going on. I like replacing into games. It makes teh game a bit more interesting. I'm also very interested in games with different mechanics. Thoughts on "theory" are at the bottom.

Great game. DJD was amazing as town. Came in tunneling scum and never looked back. I played fairly well for my first game of mafia ever and it was great. I actually called out to of the scum for bussing early on. Though I later dropped these charges it turns out I was right. I made my bah post while at L-1 on accident and ended up not getting lynched. Since I said I was VT the last scum shot and missed. I guess some of the credit for the win goes to me for that. :)

Very fun game. I got a wagon going D1 on seil, but couldn't get the lynch through. Apparently I was right about the fact that he was lying but his anger was town enough to get everybody off of him. CES tunneled my buddy(Techno) as soon as he entered the game and that caused some problems. We almost got Voided lynched but a town decided no lynch was better and he lived. We couldn't keep the pressure off him anymore and Techno died the next day. I killed the nolyncher to put suspicion on a couple VI's but made a scumslip the day before that revealed I knew Techno's alignment.

Thoughts

This is just a ton of thoughts which may be organized later.

If you pile a few votes, or even one in some cases, on someone they will act differently if they are scum. While this doesn't always work with people who are level-headed a good chunk of people actually aren't level-headed. It can be fun to change up your playstyle, do it. Lynching lurkers is usually not bad as long as there's no cult. having active players makes a fun game. If you can control the game as scum you almost guarantee your team a win. Third-party/Odd PRs are fun. Mods should use them more. The Large Theme queue is intimidating. I love large themes not having setups known but the queue scares the hell out of me. Replacing in may be the way to go. I did it for Name of the Wind and it worked. I guess I'll play Opens for now.
