in progress!:

Rocky Horror Picture Show - a cult game (cult movie = cult game!) 1 neutral survivor faction and 2 cult leaders, along with unique mechanics that I think will make it a fair and exciting game (unlike pretty much most cult games that end up being a frustrating tedious futile GRAAHHHHH fest)

upcoming :

1st Annual MS Law-Enforcement Convention - investigatives galore! I hate cops (err, the role!) so this is a kind of a "fuckit I'm making a cops game so I never have to think about them again" type game ? It'll feature nuanced investigative mechanics that hopefully add a more interesting layer to the cop role.

PM me on MS to ask questions or pre-/in ! - both of these are large theme games

finished :

mini-normal 1892 - A Night at the Speakeasy

- Who Cries for Justina? (pt. 1)
- Blind to Justina (pt. 2),
- Crimes for Justina (pt. 3),
- No Ties to Justina (pt. 4),
 Gold Miner $laughter
 Maplewood Village

general themes of games already in the works and order I think I'll run them (Rocky Horror and 1st Annual MSLEC) :

western, mafia (alcohol prohibition era), surreal, 1400's London, sci-fi, western, middle-ages?, mafia?

how I play

 LYNCH ALL LIARS

The "General Yu" : often when I say "you" in a game, I mean the general you, not a specific you, so sometimes I might just use "Yu", and so you should know what that means when you see it from me.

 predictability does NOT equal readability
  • In my first game there was the talk of "oh, so-and-so usually does that as town" or something similar and my brain went "well I have to play in a way to never let THAT sort of read get established! that seems like bad strategy" and so I've been playing with that mentality forever.
  • Sometimes I decide how I'm going to come at a game before it starts and stick with it, sometimes I change my mind.
  • Sometimes I decide how I'm going to play based on familiarity with the player-list, sometimes I change my mind.
  • Most times the game itself; flavor, playerlist, and overall "feel" of the game, determines for me how I approach the game.
  • I'm still relatively new and learning more with each game and that brings about a natural growth and change, but I hope I never reach a point where I can become predictable and wish to always be developing my game.
 SLAUGHTER THE USELESS
  • D1: I am always preferable to the entire player list being active participants throughout the entirety of the game. NO LURKING is ideal. However, lurking is still acceptable to a degree in general and, on D1, I am okay with lurking to the severest degree acceptable by the moderator, no matter scum or town. D1 I am hunting for scum, lurker lynches on D1 do not serve town at all and I think that anyone that tries to push a lurker lynch on D1 is looking for LHF and gets scumpings from me, or is misguided. However, come:
  • D2: Yu had better start participating and giving me something, or I will be on your butt, most likely (larger games I will allow a little more lurking than smaller on D2, but there had still better be something more than what you gave on D1. Anyone who was very active on D1 is permitted a good degree of lurk-leniency on D2. ( ^^<<that is just how the spacing worked out with the "D2"s - weird!)
  • D3: If you're lurking at this point I will be pushing for your lynch unless there is certain scum elsewhere.
