Capricious Mod is just what it says on the can.

Capricious Mod is mostly known for his iron-fisted moderation style. His biggest claim to fame is banning players simply for posting in threads in which he is involved. He likes to ban players for a random amount of time, generally between 1 and 37 minutes (the max appears to increase if capriciousness level does). Known banphrases are:

  • [user] broke the rules and must suffer the consequences for [value] minutes.
  • [user] has been banned for [value] minutes for posting in thread.
  • [user] just couldn't help it. BANNED for [value] minutes.
  • [user] eats a ban for [value] minutes for posting in my thread.
  • [user], you thought I was joking, didn't you? Banned for [value] minutes.
  • [user], do I look like the type of mod who jokes around? Banned. For [value] minutes for posting in my thread.
  • [user], you know, I was thinking about letting you off the hook, but I just can't help it. Banned for [value] minutes for posting in my thread.
  • [user] eats a ban for [value] minutes for blasphemous crimes.
  • [user]... wait for it ... BANNED for [user] minutes.
  • Xayzeck eats a ban for 10 minutes for having an unpronounceable name. (only used once so far)
  • Aronis tried too hard. BANNED for 32 days. (also only seen once)

Rumour has it that Capricious Mod is too soft to ACTUALLY ban people, so he just dumps a bucket of black paint over their name for a few minutes. Don't tell him that we're onto it though.

Pleasure doing business with you.
