The name "Alien" can refer to either of two unrelated role PM components:
The [[Alien]] is a role which both [[roleblock]]s its target, and blocks all other actions from targeting them during that night.


This role is nearly identical to a [[Jailkeeper]], but whereas an Alien roleblocks its target and blocks '''all other''' actions targeting them that night, a Jailkeeper merely roleblocks and ''[[protect]]s'' their target. Note: This still allows the target to be: investigated by [[cop]]s, gifted by [[Inventor]]s, etc.
* [[Alien (role)]]: A [[Jailkeeper]] variant that blocks all actions, not just kills.
* [[Alien (faction)]]: A [[groupscum]] faction that can only kill once, most commonly seen in [[Great Idea Mafia]] and its variants.
