Alternating 9P is based on the C9 setup. The original version of this setup was titled Even/ Odd C9 and had 7 players. It has since been upgraded to 9.

Setup

Mechanics

  • Daystart
  • The Doctor can only act on Odd nights (ie; 1, 3, 5)
  • The Cop can only act on Even nights (ie; 2, 4, 6)

Role PM's

Mafia Goon

  • Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name].

Abilities:

  • Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partner here [QuickTopic link].
  • Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.

Win condition:

  • You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occuring.


Vanilla Townie

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Vanilla Townie.

Abilities:

  • Your weapon is your vote, you have no night actions.

Win condition:

  • You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.


Town Odd-Night Doctor

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Odd-Night Doctor.

Abilities:

  • Each odd-numbered night, you may protect one player in the game from being nightkilled.

Win condition:

  • You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.


Town Even-Night Cop

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Even-Night Cop.

Abilities:

  • Each even-numbered night, you may investigate one player in the game by PM'ing the mod. You will get results back in the form of Town or Mafia.
  • You know you are guaranteed to be sane.

Win condition:

  • You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
