OK, so this one is a little tougher.  It requires that you judge the general category of the players.  There is also a lot of interpretation about what constitutes "hesitant."

On another note, I re-wrote it this morning because I lost the original... it's probably in the same place as the missing poems for [[Seuss Mafia]].  If I find it, I'll merge the original in.

This information is probably out of date, and needs to be edited by someone who knows what has happened since the last update.

This requires that judging the general category of players, and interpret what constitutes "hesitant" in your game.

Generalities about cops

  • Newbie cops refuse to vote for a person "without evidence" and often blatantly try to derail bandwagons of innocents. Caveat: Don't confuse with Masons.
  • Intermediate cop players are hesitant to vote without proof.
  • Experienced cops won't put the first vote on someone unless they have investigation.
  • Cops often show up as "linked" to one or two people early in the game.
  • The people looking for cops are mafia and doctors.

As mafia

  • If someone never changes their vote and keeps up pressure (especially early on), that person is likely cop.
  • If someone votes, then quickly "confirms" that vote, that person is likely cop.

As doctor

  • Look for an early voter who never changes vote.
