Interesting game idea, but in my opinion flawed due to heavy imballance for town, mod did not put enaugh thought into this, as you can see from him changing rules after game start... This game suffers from heavy VI supersaturation. Is susoect a huge part of this is scum tactics. Let's see what comes out of this...

Revision as of 09:27, 6 September 2010

Here you are, all my games in more or less chronological order:

Newbie 929

role: Vanilla Townie

outcome: lynched D1, town loss

The obligatory newbie game. Really bad performance by most players, including myself. Town is literaly brought down by VIs. Wanna see vanilla claim cop with guilty on another vanilla?! You'll find it here!

Mini 943: Greek Mythology

role: Apollon, god of light, allignment confirmed mason/1-shot nightskipper

outcome: endgamed, town loss

Very fun game with a crazy outcome. Suffered a bit from follow the cops syndrome (correct: cops, not cop - half of the town roles had some kind of access to investigative abilities). Basically we had all scum identified D3, but lost to a hidden scum wincon after an overeager town blindly voted for a quicklynch and I failed to have the quick-wittedness of preventing a scum hammer. Note: Thinking and cooperation wins games for town, negelcting either can always cause a loss, especially in a theme game.

Newbie 958

role: mafia goon

outcome: lynched D2, mafia victory

My first game as mafia. I replaced into this game prestressed by a very scummy predecessor. Realizing my partner was the IC, Incognito, who's got an impressive scum record, I decided to do a really agressive bold scum attempt which let to me being investigated by the cop and and take him down with me (you really shouldn't tunnel on your guilties as cop). The gambit paid off and allowed my partner to win in LyLo.

Open 221 - unclean

role: vanilla townie

outcome: lynched D1, town loss.

Another game in which I replaced some VI, just to find myself at L-1 facing a town too lazy to actually hunt scum, eventually being lynched... Town proceeds to remain passive into a well deserved, yet unexciting mafia victory.

Mini 986: Beatles Mafia

role: Maxwell's Silver Hammer, 2-shot vig

outcome: endgamed D3, town loss

I make a horrible mistake with my PMs night one, ending up sending my target switch PM to myself instead of the mod which results in me killing our doc instead of scum. Overall bad play by town, especially some really VIish actions as our 1-shot hider totally screwing up his role claim in every imaginable way, lead us down a steep slope to total annihilation. Even the most obvscum player, my failed N1 target, survives until late game... Really really sad...

Mafia 1010: Perpetual MyLo

role: vanilla townie

outcome: lynched D3, ongoing game

Interesting game idea, but in my opinion flawed due to heavy imballance for town, mod did not put enaugh thought into this, as you can see from him changing rules after game start... This game suffers from heavy VI supersaturation. Is susoect a huge part of this is scum tactics. Luckily scum is now on the road to execute collective suicide... Still town's behin 1:2. Let's see what comes out of this...

Newbie 990

role: not revealed, yet

outcome: alive, ongoing game

I replaced in at the beginning of a surprisingly short D2. After scum lynched on D2 I think this game is going great :P

I also played some marathon games - with significantly more success so far, w/l record is something around 8/1 by now, but right now I'm too lazy to list those, can't find the site move day games anywhere in the forums, any way...
