I assume that you're not here by mistake, so you probably want to learn a thing or two about me, right?

Let's see...

I have played many games of forum Mafia before on a different site. Despite my experience, it's been almost a year since then and I don't know how good I am. The game intrigues me on a psychological level and that's quite evident in how I approach it.

I hold the belief that site meta is an illusion. Or rather, a construct. I never yielded to one before and I don't think I ever will.

I believe that many players forget a basic principle of the game: there are no townie/scummy words or actions. There are only two things that separate Town and scum: wincon and information.

The most important thing to look for when reading someone's post is intent. Ask yourself: "Why would they post this as either alignment?". Understand them as a person. Only then can you read them or manipulate them.

Every person is different in some way. There is no such thing as a tell that applies to all people. No Townie plays scummy, and no scum plays towny. Labels like these hinder understanding the person behind the role. If you read someone wrong, it might be your fault for not trying to understand them.

And I do not believe that objectitivity can exist in a game where everything about it is influenced by the human mind.
