Why are you placing the protection template on articles? I don't see any current waves of spam on those particular ones... (and protection is a SysOp thing, that template is just for notification). -- Mr. Flay 17:49, 29 November 2008 (MST)

- Ahh, I see. What you're looking for is something like a {{protectme}} template - as a normal Wiki user, you can't actually protect articles, sorry. I'll see if I can make such a thing in the near future...

Wiki block too
The wiki is part of the site, and he is/was using it as a platform for his outrage at being banned. mith can overturn it at any time, but right now he needs to be communicating directly with mith about the ban, not making his case to the public. As for 'damage', there's little that can be done as a regular user, but it is possible to set up scripts and such that make a lot of hassle in a very short period of time. MMM hasn't shown any indications of wanting to do that, but I feel better safe than sorry. -- Mr. Flay 10:09, 4 June 2010 (EDT)
