The Arena

  • Every round will begin with a challenge in The Arena. The challenge will either be team-based, in pairs, or individual. Any teams or pairs will be selected randomly beforehand.
  • In rounds where the challenge is team-based, private communication is limited to only those within your team. This is the case until the next round begins.
  • At the start of every challenge, the number of players entering Deliberation will be revealed, along with the number of players safe from entering the Colosseum. Throughout most of the game, the players performing in the top half of those competing will be safe from the Colosseum, while the winning team or pair of a challenge are usually the only players entering Deliberation.
  • All Arena challenges will distribute a total of 800 points between all players based on performance. The effect and function of these points will not be revealed until the endgame.

Deliberations

  • Deliberations are how the first player is selected for the Colosseum. All players determined by the challenge to take part in Deliberation will cast one vote in their confessionals for who they wish to enter the Colosseum, and may discuss the vote with each other freely.
  • Every Deliberation will have a deadline of 24 hours. If you do not submit a vote before deadline, you will receive a strike. Once a player receives three strikes, he is automatically eliminated from the game.
  • In case of a tie, the player entering the Colosseum through Deliberation will be randomly selected from those involved in the tie.
  • You can change your vote as much as you want, but only your final vote before the deadline will count.

The Colosseum

  • Every round will conclude with a Colosseum challenge. This is a duel between two players, where the losing player will always be permanently eliminated from the game.
  • The first player entering the Colosseum during a round is decided through Deliberation. All players not safe from the Colosseum are eligible to be voted in through Deliberation. In team-based rounds where private communication is limited, all players eligible to be voted in will have a chance to publicly plead their case to those taking part in Deliberation.
  • The second player entering the Colosseum is determined by random draw. After the player selected through Deliberation is determined, one of the other players not safe from the Colosseum will be randomly selected by the roll of a die to enter the Colosseum. This means that winning the Arena challenge is of utmost importance, as there is no way to ensure your safety through social means if you lose.
  • Every Colosseum will have a 24-hour deadline. Duelists need to have completed the challenge by deadline. Failure to complete the challenge in time will result in immediate elimination. If both players fail to complete the challenge, they will both be eliminated.
  • All Colosseum challenges will give 200 points to the player who wins the challenge. The effect and function of these points will not be revealed until the endgame.
